Saul Rivard, MD

Meet Dr. Rivard

Dr. Rivard grew up in Livingston, Montana, and graduated from Park High School where he
was involved in football, choir, and theatre. At Brown University, he majored in Public Policy.
He then attended the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed
residency training at the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana in Missoula.
Since 2009, Dr. Rivard has been advocating for the advancement of health care in Montana.
At the Montana Office of Rural Health, he compiled workforce data that led to increasing
the number of medical school slots offered to Montana students. As the President of the
Montana Academy of Family Physicians, he advocated on behalf of patients and providers
at the state legislature. For his commitment to leadership, advocacy, and teaching, the
American Academy of Family Physicians awarded him the Degree of Fellow. Dr. Rivard
chose family medicine because he values the relationships he forms with his patients and
the ability to care for multiple generations of families.

He enjoys exploring Missoula’s many parks, restaurants, and festivals with his wife and
their two daughters. Dr. Rivard is excited to be practicing at Missoula Family Medicine and
grateful to be a partner in your health care.
